All about IPL

West Indies had already won against and had almost booked their spot in the Super 8s.This was the first match for England in this campaign and they way they started after loosing the Toss was worth what the other teams should fear.

The English Lions roared and the West Indies were under tremendous pressure. The Lions with the help of two blistering knocks from Eoin Morgan (55) and Luke Wright (45 not out) posted an impressive 191 for five.

The target for Windies was 192 and it was not an easy target for any team.Any team would have scored 190+ and expected to win.But that was not be as the rain Gods had a different thing mind if the target is too big reduce the over and the target and it becomes a lot easier to chase.

That is exactly what happened and what was a good score was reduced to a mere 60 in 6 overs thanks to a blistering start given by Chris Gayle in the first 2.2 overs before the rain.

I personally feel it was a victory for England as chasing a target of 192 in 20 overs is a lot tougher to chase than 60 in 6 overs.
